The first time that Lisette Poole’s book La Paloma y la ley was exhibited in an installation format as part of the FRAGILE festival, in Mexico City Art Week 2024. The installation invited for new possibilities for visitors to engage with the book’s stories anew.

The content of the book related to timeless stories of human movement, and by working together with Lisette Poole, we added the element of disorientation in the curation and design of the installation, also including elements present in the journey described in her book. This allowed for an immersive experience for the viewer, feeling connected not only to the substance of Liset and Marta’s plight but also connected emotionally to the highs and lows of their experience
