I developed this collection from objects in my memory that I never had access to, and that to this day, couldn’t get out my head.
Drawing from shapes and concepts, and materializing abtrsact wishes.
Think of the house you dramt of, but was perhaps too absurd, or too out of reach. Or the food that you were not supposed to have, but craved. They, probably, have a new value or significance now, but if you still remember, there is something that lingers.
The friction of not achieving something right away is shown in the raw finishes
of the metal. The anticipation of a treat shows in how every piece is designed and handcrafted on demand.
